Two sisters from Ebonyi State, Mrs. Juliet Chukwu, a Civil Defence officer, and Mrs. Ngozi Nancy Chukwu, an Immigration officer, have been apprehended for allegedly orchestrating the kidnapping of their elder brother.
The suspects, both from Amaeze Ishiagu in Ivo LGA, Ebonyi State, reportedly planned the abduction of their sibling (who shares the same parents) and demanded a ransom of ₦30 million.
Authorities arrested the sisters in a hotel where they were allegedly dividing the ransom money. Investigations are ongoing as the case raises concerns over family-related crimes.
