Aggrieved Workers Disrupt Wike’s Convoy in Abuja Over Unpaid Salaries, Welfare Concerns




Tension flared in Abuja on Monday, January 26, as protesting workers reportedly pursued the convoy of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over lingering welfare and salary-related grievances.

Footage circulating on social media showed the demonstrators running after a vehicle said to be conveying the minister, chanting slogans and demanding urgent attention to their unresolved demands.

The protesters were seen advancing toward the convoy while voicing frustrations over unpaid entitlements and poor working conditions.
