Rema is now listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.
According to Naijanetgist Rema, a Nigerian musician and rapper, has been inducted into the Guinness World Book of Records.
According to this online newspaper, the music icon from Benin accomplished the feat with his worldwide hit song "Calm Down," which created history by becoming the first No. 1 Hit on The Official MENA Chart (the first regional streaming chart in the globe).
In a recent statement on its website, Guinness World Records recognized the artist for accomplishing the historic feat.
The announcement claims Rema was honored for becoming the first artist to reach number one on both the Middle East and North Africa's first official chart and first-ever regional streaming chart (MENA).
On November 29, 2022, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) introduced the MENA Chart, and Rema's "Calm Down" debuted at No. 1.
For more than two months, the song topped the charts.
