Hon. Engr. Dominic Okafor, FNSE, Member representing the good people of Aguata Federal Constituency, Anambra State, is a shining example of responsive and visionary representation. During our National Assembly Complex Tour and Stakeholders Engagement, the National Union of Anambra State Students Worldwide (NUASS) had the great honor of being received by Hon. Dominic Okafor, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
From our first interaction, it was clear that Hon. Okafor understands the critical role of education and youth empowerment in national development. He listened keenly, engaged us deeply, and expressed sincere admiration for the initiatives NUASS is championing. More importantly, he pledged his unflinching support to our cause, not in vague promises, but through concrete commitments.
Hon. Dominic Okafor agreed to actively work with NUASS to ensure that the long anticipated Anambra State Student Bursary Scheme becomes a reality. He emphasized the importance of education in the state and assured us that he would engage the Solution Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, in making this vision come to life. Such alignment between the legislature and executive for the good of Umuakwukwo Anambra gives us renewed hope.
Beyond that, Hon. Okafor expressed his willingness to collaborate with NUASS on all student related programs, establishments, and educational projects, from policy advocacy to capacity building initiatives.
