Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian artist Mohbad, has openly accused musician Naira Marley of bullying and mistreating his son before his death. The allegations were made in response to a recent video statement by Naira Marley, in which he denied any involvement in Mohbad’s personal struggles or untimely demise.
In an interview, Aloba contradicted Marley’s claims of having acted as a mentor to Mohbad. He stated that he had personally witnessed disrespectful behavior from Marley and recounted an incident where one of Marley’s associates reported that Mohbad was being physically assaulted. Aloba also acknowledged that Naira Marley had raised concerns about Mohbad’s use of an unfamiliar bank account for financial transactions.
The ongoing dispute has intensified public interest in the case, with many fans calling for a thorough reinvestigation. Naira Marley has previously denied all allegations and expressed willingness to cooperate with authorities, stating that he was out of the country at the time of Mohbad’s death and had already been detained and questioned by the police.
