Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Tinubu has enacted four groundbreaking tax and fiscal bills at the Aso Villa, ushering in a transformative era for Nigeria’s economic governance.
The newly signed laws streamline the nation’s tax system and introduce the most significant pro-citizen tax reductions in decades. Key measures include financial relief for low-income workers, small businesses, and families nationwide.
The following Acts have now been officially gazetted as laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria:
- The Nigeria Tax (Fair Taxation) Act
- The Nigeria Tax Administration Act
- The Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Act
- The Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Act
These reforms will take effect on January 1, 2026.
"God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria," declared President Tinubu.
