Suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has announced plans to return to the Senate on Tuesday after a Federal High Court overturned her suspension and directed her reinstatement.
However, the Senate has stated that it will not take any official steps until it receives and examines the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the court ruling issued on July 4, 2025.
Yemi Adaramodu, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, clarified in a Sunday statement that while the Senate’s legal representatives attended the court session, the full judgment was not read aloud. He added that the Senate has formally requested the CTC to ensure proper legal review before proceeding further.
