"Nigeria in Crisis: Hon. Chukwukaekwu Makua Emmanuel Calls for Competent Leadership

 Hon. Comrade Chukwukaekwu Makua Emmanuel, a prominent Nigerian author and social media writer, youth leader, politician and founder of Youth Nigeria Media, has raised serious concerns about Nigeria's worsening socio-economic and security conditions. Speaking during a recent online program, State of the Nation, he described Nigeria as being in a "bleeding stage," with stagnation, hunger, and insecurity plaguing the nation.  

Nigeria’s Decline and the Need for True Leadership

Hon. Emmanuel lamented the country's downward trajectory, stating, "Nigeria is rapidly moving backward. The government, whose primary duty is to protect lives and property, has failed. What we need now is a sincere and capable leader to rescue the nation from this mess."  

Defending Peter Obi’s Competence

When asked about recent criticisms against Mr. Peter Obi, former Anambra State Governor and 2023 presidential candidate, Hon. Emmanuel strongly defended his leadership. "I have not seen a more honest and competent leader than Peter Obi. He is not just a politician—he is a true leader," he asserted.  

He accused Obi’s detractors of benefiting from Nigeria’s current misfortunes, saying, "Those discrediting him are the same people thriving under Nigeria’s dysfunction. Peter Obi transformed Anambra State from zero to a model of progress. He has the capacity to fix Nigeria."

Nigeria’s Failing Economy

On the economy, Hon. Emmanuel expressed deep concern, noting that even the wealthy are struggling. "The current economic state is nothing to write home about. If the rich are crying, imagine the poor. Nigeria must go back to the drawing board and restructure its policies."

Call to Action

The young politician urged Nigerians to demand accountability and support visionary leadership to salvage the nation from collapse.
