Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda has praised local communities for engaging in peace negotiations with bandits, stating the efforts are now producing positive security outcomes.
The Governor made the statement on Friday during his ongoing tour of the state's local government areas, with visits to Batsari and Danmusa.
He reported that the peace agreements have resulted in a marked decline in violence and enhanced security in regions previously severely impacted by banditry.
